The captain of the settlement's main guard corps, Arthur, begs his men to help him and his daughters escape from the vampire horde. He tells them that they have been attacked by three vampires, led by one vampire with a magical ground-miplation. The other vampire was a human- oxen hybrid. Arthur tells his men that they were attacked by the wrong vampire, who turned out to be none other than "the turned nola" . Arthur asks his men if the vampire is lying, and they refuse to believe that he is telling the truth. He reminds them that he killed "veronica" and injured two of his human friends, and that he has "unfinished business" with "that stupid bull" , who is still helping
