He also tells her that he has tinkered with the vampire's old sword, which has been around for a hundred years. He asks her to stay with him, and she says she's glad to meet him. She tells him that she is a vampire named veronicamaundrell and that she lives in a castle in Transylvania. She explains that vampires don't like sunlight, silvers, and onions, so they limit their activities in the day. They also have a venomous fang, which makes them feel like they can't live in peace. They name those vampires who have "blood lust" as their "obstacle breakers" because they're willing to sacrifice their own lives for the sake of others.
