In this chapter, we learn that Gwiho and Yonhap tried to run away together, but Yonhap convinced them to stay put. Yonhap explains that he is the one who has the heart, and that he has been reborn into the body of Yonhap. He tells Yonhap that he was once a good god, but now he is a bad one. He says that if Yonhap had not given him his heart, he would have taken Yonhap to hell and taken some of his heart back. But Yonhap has a conscience, and he agrees to give his heart to Yonhap if he does not want to go to hell.
