About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Yonhap's new wife, Ryong-woo, has just gotten married to Yonhap, and that she has brought a child with her. Yonhap tries to get Ryongwoo to bring the child to his room, but Yonhap refuses, saying that he is not allowed to do so. He tells Yonhap that he has come to pay Ryong's debts because he thinks that demon spirits will be giving him a hard time. He says that the scent of the child reminds him of his own father, who was killed by Yonhap when Yonhap was a child. He feels bitter and resentful that he was starved to death by his father. He wants to find out why the child has such a powerful scent, and he uses a brush to read a book about the child. The brush tells him that the child is a demon that ate the flesh of human beings and was cast away from the heaven. He asks Yonhap not to come close to him, because he has been waiting for him to wake up, but instead to stay with him all the time, until Yonhap meets the Shaman again.
