This chapter opens with a description of a "god complex" . It's a fancy way of saying that all of humanity's actions and thoughts are recorded in a big, fancy map. It also describes the way in which people's thoughts and actions are fed into the "processors" , which are the machines that process and store all of our information. This is a big deal, because it means that we're all connected to the same thing, and that's the way we live our lives. We're connected to all of this stuff because it's part of the "digital construct" we've been building for ourselves. The only problem is that our bodies aren't able to keep up with this new technology. We need to figure out a way to keep our bodies in line with the rest of the world, because our bodies are going to get sick. The problem is, our bodies don't have enough blood to keep pumping out the right amount of blood, which is why our blood pressure is dropping. The solution, the god complex tells us, is to find the "trium" in our bodies, and then we'll be able to get back to the real world.
