The think tank focuses on Dr. David loren, who has been described as a child prodigy, a mass murderer, a programmable bacteria, a surface thought reader, and a manish man. The series is a lurid, violent crime story with a small-town feel. Each arc of the series deals with a particular aspect of crime, and the possible salvation and damnation of those who commit the crime. The current story arc deals with the neo-nazis and white supremacy movement.
