The next morning, Mr. Sawyer finds that his tie clip has been stolen. He realizes that someone took it the night before and pretended to be the murderer, but that someone else took it and then took it back the next day. He is worried that his pay from the ads will soon be used up, so he asks the photographer if he can use the money to pay for follow-up. The photographer tells him that only acquaintances know he has a low alcohol tolerance, so the murderer must be someone close to him, or someone who got the information from someone who knew him. He tells Sawyer that he has something to tell him, and he wants to know why he has been so overreacting when he comes in. He says that he promised his childhood sweetheart that he would join him in participating in a reality show that his grandfather invested in. The director of the show is impeccable, and if he does well, he will be able to create more opportunities. He asks Sawyer if he plans on considering the job for a long time, and Sawyer says that it is only a month since they last spoke. Sawyer asks him to wait until after he accompanies his grandfather to the hospital to have his physical examination.
