The narrator introduces us to Mr. Anthony, who has just returned from the hospital. He asks Miss Betsey if she can help him find the water fountain. She says that she has been running around with the baby and that she is thirsty. She asks him if there is alcohol in the water, and he says that he has just come out to drink again. He tells her that he did not want to go into the hospital because he was so thirsty. He also says that adam is very sick and that he would not drink alcohol in a hospital. The narrator tells him that he is a little pretty and that even the president did not fall for her the day she wore makeup on. He adds that he already has the presi in the tap. He wonders if Mr. Yon has not seen them yet, and wonders if he will get angry so he should move away. He says that his fever is not too high, and that the doctors have told them to take a break. He then asks if they should rest, and she says that they must have been "surprised and tired too." He asks where Mr. Jaeyoung is, and the narrator says that if he is moving money "for the devil," now is the time to get evidence.
