In this short scene, Kongkk rattles his rattle to indicate that he's not having a good time. He's worried about what's going to happen to his family, and he wants to tell his father-in-law what happened to him. He doesn't want to tell anyone else's story, but he does want to be able to confide in his father. He tells his father that he moved to his relatives' house because they took him in, and that he plans to leave there when he has enough money to do so. He says that he and his father have never kissed before, but that's because they only looked at each other when they needed each other. Kongkk asks if he can pretend to be sorry for making him cry, and if he needs his help with something. He wants to go back to work, and says that if he feels sick, he'll just call him. If he feels like running into his father, he can go inside.
