The evil spirit demands to be left alone with the highness. The two of them have been entwined with each other's souls for some time now, and it's time to separate them. The highness, however, is still conscious of the evil spirit, and she begs the men to kill her immediately. The gold that subdues wood, she says, is the same gold that she calls upon to kill the wood demon. She says that she doesn't want the king's majesty to be hurt, so she wants to kill both of them simultaneously.
