About This Chapter
The dragon finally wakes up. He tells the girl that he's a dragon who came from the sky. He's already showing her a lot of restraint by not and eating her. The girl tells him that the heavenly realm isn't as beautiful as she thinks it is. The dragon race used to be able to fly around in the sky, but since then, they've lost their free will. The gods have caught the dragon and punished him. After enduring various punishments, the dragon's body burns and becomes scarred. His companions never understand why he wants to escape. They even refuse to associate with him out of fear that they'll be punished themselves. Finally, when the dragon reaches the edge of death, his companions come to his rescue. They carry his dreams with them.
