The Underground Man is wandering aimlessly through the streets of London when he meets the Underground Man again. The two of them are on their way back to the Underground Station when the underground man notices that they have lost their train tickets. He apologizes for running out of the station without them, and they both agree that they will have to be very fast to catch the train back to London
