You see that with Matt? Matt’s sexual orientation is so coded in this manga, but quite glaringly obvious to a queer reader existing amongst hyper masculinity. “Who is he to tell me what ‘normal’?” is what he said about his therapist. Matt’s struggling and not just grief (quite possible Eddie was the only person who knew about Matt). Gosh if this manga had continued, it would have been amazing to see this side plot come to fruition and hopefully peacefully.
