In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi has not responded to Hiroshi's letter for three days, and that he is afraid that his sister-in-law does not approve of his relationship with her brother. In order to understand his feelings for his brother, Hiroshi tells us that he met his brother fujimori when he was a student at the university and that they have been living in the same house ever since. When his brother returned home from college, he asked Hiroshi to lend him his first book on business, and Hiroshi agreed to do so.
