Ten years have passed, and the narrator can't quite remember what happened. He tells suke that they were a couple, but that it took courage on his part for a freshman to confess his love to a senior in high school. Ten years later, the narrator is in his first year of college, and he and suke have broken up. The narrator doesn't know why, but he does know that it was suke's husband who broke them up.
