This chapter is all about misunderstandings. It's all about what you want, and what you don't want. The narrator tells em>Little kyo/em> that she's running away from her job and her love, and that she doesn't know how to get what she wants. She wants stability and social standing, but she can't figure out how to answer his questions. She's also worried about her pride, which has been hurt by all of this. She tells Little kyo that he's right, and she'll have to show him how hard she worked to get to where she is today. She says that she just wants to tell him the truth, and he'll be glad to hear it. He's totally right, she says, and they'll get along just fine.
