It's been a long time since he's seen it. He's not sure why, but he thinks it must be because it's two days before the big ball. The school has lots of events before the ball, so everyone can get together and have fun. One day, someone invites him to join them, and he says he'll do so. He doesn't want to be a part of the group that's avoiding him, so he goes to the clubroom first. When he gets there, he finds that everyone else is already there. He asks if they'd like to join his group, and they all agree. They're going to have a good time, he says, and then he goes off to join the other group.
