In this short scene, we are introduced to a young woman who is in love with a young man. The young man, who we learn is Nemo, has just returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands, where he met a number of other young men. He is now studying at the University of California, Berkeley, and he is eager to learn more about the Galapagos, which is home to some of the world's Galapagos tortoises. Nemo asks one of the young men if he would like to meet him, and the young man tells him that he would. The two men begin to talk, and Nemo tells the man that he is welcome to meet them at any time. The man agrees to meet Nemo at the university.
