About This Chapter
The next morning, Huck wakes up to find himself alone with his brother. Huck tells his brother that he's in a bad mood. He's upset that his mom has died, and that he hasn't had a chance to spend more time with his mom. He tells Huck that he doesn't need to worry about his mom's death, because his mom is dead and he'll be able to spend time with her without worrying about her death. Huck's not worried about his brother, though, because he knows that his brother will always be there for him, even after his mom dies. Huck and his brother have a little argument about whether or not his mom was a good mom, and Huck tells him that she was. Huck says that he still has his brother by his side, even though his brother is busier and busier, and he has less time to spend with him. He also says that the way Huck treated his brother at work was more ruthless than the way he treated Huck at work. Huck asks his brother if he'd like to eat some spicy food, but his brother refuses to eat it. Huck thanks his brother for letting him eat the coriander that he took away from him the last time they were together, and says that even though Huck is not hungry, he is full of it.
