The next day, Ming-Ching tries to teach Ani how to be a good student, but Ani is not interested in learning anything from him. Instead, she asks him to help her move some stuff in the afternoon. He is impressed by her strength and asks her to teach him how to do the same. He tells her that he will treat her to a meal, and she agrees to help him move some things later in the day. When she asks about the previous day's experiment, Ming chimes in that the group's results were not very good, so they should help the teacher. He then tells Ani that she should not touch his hand, because he has already told her to be careful with the test tube. When Ani asks him why he didn't pay attention to the teacher's instructions, he says that he had already told him to pay attention, and that it was not him who had broken the tube. He says that if he wants to fight, he should do it now, and they should get along like classmates.
