In this short scene, we learn that the eldest son of Lin is very happy about his upcoming engagement to his sister-in-law, and that the younger son is also very happy. We learn that Lin's ex-boyfriend has been writing about the engagement in the local press. The younger son, however, is not interested in the gossip, and he does not want to be associated with it. He tells the older son that he is sorry that he cannot attend the wedding because of an injury he sustained in an accident. The older son tells him that he has arranged for her to have a physical therapist and that he will try to get her back on her feet and be her maid of honor. He also tells her that he plans to be the next boss of the Lin group and he will rid the company of all those who want the company's property.
