Ten days have passed since Haruki's arrival, and he's still not feeling well. He's bummed that he hasn't been able to enjoy his time with his new friends. He decides to head out for a shopping trip. He packs a lunch for everyone, and tells them that he'll be back soon. Everyone is happy to see him, and Haruki thanks them for coming. He says that it's great to be back, and that he used to go to school with them. He tells them about how he lost his parents, and how they ran a furniture store. He asks if he can take Haruki with him to the "outside world" .
