In this short scene, we are introduced to Kikuji, a young man who has just returned from a trip to the seashore. He has just arrived at the seashore when he is awakened by the sound of his friend's car, which is full of honey. He is delighted to find that his friend has splashed some of the honey on his clothing, and he asks the driver to bring him a new suit of clothes so that he will not have to wear his old one. The driver agrees to do so, and the two of them leave the seashore to return to their hotel.
