In this chapter, we learn that Little Father Time has died, and that his body is almost completely packed away in preparation for his burial. He asks his brother why he hasn't gone to the store with him to buy water. He says that he's been busy, and running out of water is one of the few things he can think of that he doesn't worry about. He also tells his brother that he has grown taller recently, and he asks him why. He tells him that his brother says that it's normal for his body to grow so fast, but that he does not have a brother younger than he is. He wants to know what will happen if he tells anyone about his secret.
