At the welcoming ceremony for the new recruits, the girl is overcome with emotion and declares that she will not be allowed to wear "frill clothes like this" ever again. She tells the man that he is the only one who can even handle her fierceness, and that he should stop making fun of her again. The man, however, does not believe her, and says that gorilla girls are "an endangered species" . The girl is so upset that she cries, and the man tells her that she is "so sick of him" and that she should "get what ! . . get what !" The girl tells him that she cannot believe that he would say such a thing, and he replies that she has been "more like a girl" a long time than he has been, and it is "appalling" that she would want to "fall for him again"
