Okay, now we're back in the present-day, where we learn that Niwa's boss, Mr. Otani, isn't exactly a sexy guy. He's kind of a jerk to her, and she's worried that he's just trying to make her feel better. Oh, and he doesn't seem to care about her feelings at all. He just scowls and scowls at her. She's so sick that she can't even eat, so she begs him to just give her a bite of food. He does, and it's enough to get her feeling better.
