About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of Nemo's walk home. Nemo is walking on his own, and the narrator tells us that Nemo looks okay. Nemo'll be gone for five minutes, and then he'll come back. The narrator tells Nemo that the watch will be moved closer to midnight, and that each rescue will turn the watch back on its axis. Nemo will be gone forever, and no one will even live in the house anymore. He's amazed that Nemo trusts people so much after he's gone. Nemo says that the door was opened, and he brought the dumbbell with him. Nemo can't even go home because of the mess. He says that he'd have to wear a skirt to hide the dumbbell in one of his shoes. He also says that she's supposed to help her girls, not hinder them. He doesn't know how to help them, he says, because most manga heroes don't have magical seals or anything like that. He tells Nemo to just lift the dumbbell like this. It's not like a normal girl can use her power to get pretty clothes. It only lasts five minutes. After that, she'll return to her normal state. The dumbbell is a binding tool, which means that it's easier for Nemo to use.
