The next morning, the two of them reminisce about the previous day's events. The narrator says that he's glad that he was able to witness the "a shriek morning" . He wonders what kind of man he really is, and wonders if he'll be able to make up for the fact that he didn't have a chance to meet him in person. He asks if she's so beautiful when she cries, and he says she is. He wants to know more about her, so he asks her where she wants to go next, and she says she'll answer his questions. He tells her that he just wanted them to choose a color to get her, and then he says he'd like them to pick the color of the clothes they're wearing. He's worried that they'll choose the color that suits them best, and that they won't like it. He says he doesn't want them to show off their driving skills by driving like a stuntman, because it's jelly fish season. He also says that everyone at the Ohka household is delighted that he came back, and they don't think he'sa bad guy. He adds that he has a hunch that she came to him with her heart, and asks her to kiss him.
