Three months later, in November of this year, the monster tells the story of how he and his family came to be in Japan. He compares the country to a "hot cold" and says that the stories of the past have been replaced with "shallow rubbish." He says that he has tried to protect his family from the monsters, but now that they have entered "uncharted territory," they are "crazed, uneducated disrespectful children." The monster tells his father that he saw the tengu winged monsters in the temple, and he has summoned his brothers and sisters to help guard the temple for a time. He asks his father to call the police, but he refuses, saying that he will not leave until he finds his daughter.
