In this short scene, we learn that the Governess's travels have made her stronger than ever. The Governess tells us that she was "lonely" during her travels, and that she had to "cut off all ways" of contact with anyone who might be able to help her. When she finally did manage to cut off contact with others, however, she found herself "sucking" a "suck" to her, and this was because she was doing her "best" to be with her. She tells us, "I was lonely too," and that "the only thing I thought of was" . She asks us to imagine what it must be like to be "sucked" by someone who is "so tight" , and to imagine how it must feel to be so tight . We're not sure what this means, but we're guessing it's a little bit like "swallowing" or "plunging" or something like that. We don't know what it is, but it sounds like something like this: "I couldn't resist / / / slapping thud slap / roy slap / came already ?" .
