The next morning, the shop owner tells Roxane that he's glad she found someone to spend time with. He's also glad that she's had a tough time in the past, because he thinks she'll be okay now. He tells her that he has only one packet of food for her, so she can eat whatever she likes in his part of town. The shop owner says that he won't be able to get away with this, because the yakuza are "100 scary" . Roxane says that's not true, and that the next time she tries to do something that he doesn't approve of, he'll get even worse. She asks him if he has a job to go back to once he gets out of the hospital, and he says he does.
