The narrator tells us that he's fallen in love with Nemo, and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with him. He's so happy that he can't believe that Nemo lied to him about his feelings for her. The narrator says that if he were a god, he wouldn't have lied to Nemo, but if it were a man, he'd have lied too. He says that he loves Nemo so much that he doesn't even want to leave. He promises to take care of Nemo, too.
