The Governess and her son, the Governess's son, are in the middle of a conversation when they hear a rustle and see a human child in the woods. The child is crying and they try to comfort him, but the child's cries are too much for them to bear. They ask the child where he came from and the child tells them that he came with his mother and that he is now living with his aunt.
