In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is named "bibi" and that he is a "ghost hunter" . He tells the protagonist that his parents will be worried about him because he is too busy with his work. He also tells him that the "yokai demon" are like ghosts and can appear anywhere, cause trouble, and then be caught by the police. He then tells the boy that he has decided to go to his favorite pancake shop in town and meet his family.
