The chapter opens with a dream in which the protagonist is dressed in a bear costume. He tells his friend, Kureha, that he is afraid of being eaten by the bear, but that he will be fine. He also tells her that he loves her, and that she is the only person he knows who has "realized" him. The protagonist then tells the girl that he has met her a month before and that they have been friends for a long time. The girl tells him that she has come to the school because she wants to be a member of the student council. She also tells the protagonist that the president of the school did not take care of him when he asked him to do so, but she says that she will be okay. She tells the boy that she and the girl are friends, and the boy says that he likes her too. The boy then asks the girl if she would like to be his girlfriend, and she says she would not be his girl friend, but if it were a playmate he would like her to be. The two girls kiss, and lulu, the protagonist's new roommate, says that they are not in love, but are just friends. He says he was banished from his castle and taken to a distant place, and now he is staying with her. He thinks they are enjoying each other's company, and he says he will leave the school soon.
