This is exactly the same as if Esther were still alive, except that instead of killing the demon gods, she's going to kill the old man. The old man is already on stage with his father, so Esther can listen to what he's about to tell her. Esther is all, "I'm boss!" . She's not a pet, she says, and she won't stop until she gets what she wants. She wants to rub his shoulders and show him respect, but she can't stand the thought of being treated like a footman.
