The chapter opens with a description of the demon gods, who created human life with the help of their divine power. The human beings were created on various planets and were guarded by monsters, subordinate to each god. The monsters created a living environment for humans, but when the gods were hungry, they led the monsters to eat them. The entire planet was eaten, and the narrator's wife and daughter also were eaten. The narrator realizes that he is still alive, and he sets out to use the taboo power of demon-gods to kill them. He has collected information for thirty years, and finally he has found a way to use this power to kill the demons. From now on, the demons will go extinct, he tells us. He tells us that the 300 million years of domination are coming to an end. He says that he feels like he is going to explode, but he is not. He tries again and again, but the results are the same. He travels around the universe to find a carrier for this new power.
