In this chapter, we learn that Dr. Bledsoe and the rest of the elite team are on the hunt for the Horcruxes, and that they've managed to capture one of the creatures. Dr Owen and the other members of the team are trying to figure out a way to stop the monster, but they can't figure out how to do it, because the monster is too powerful. Dr. Owen tells the team that they need to use a device called the scalpel to cut through the monster's skin, and then they'll be able to use it to kill the monster.
