It's hot outside, and it's getting hotter and hotter all the time. The narrator tries to get away from the steamy scene by telling himself that he's fine. He's just having sex with another guy. He doesn't want to get into any trouble. He tells himself that if he had sex with a girl, he'd run for the school's president. He also tells us that the other guys in the group are hanging out with some girls from another school, and that they're trying to hook up some of them up so they can get over the school and get out of the hot, steamy scene.
