The next morning, Hirokazu arrives at the circus. He tells the ringmaster that he has been stabbed in the back and that he is paralyzed from waist down. The ringmaster tells him that the wedding has not yet taken place, but that he hopes to do so soon. Hiroki tells him to be good to him again and that they do not offer the ceremony when the couple is not around.
