The chapter opens with a description of the second bedroom available at the end of the room. The narrator tells us that the room is being used for shopping, and that the next day is a "shopping day" . He tells the group that he owes them all for saving his life, and he tells them to "get hard" and "stomach the best way" is to get "hard" yourself. He also tells them that they should go and "steal" one of their clients' clients, but that he has not yet taken the pill. He says that he will torture the two of them if they go and steal the client's client. He then tells the others that he is going to "torture" yamaguchi, who is the son of a wealthy man who has tied him up. He asks them to tease him that badly, and they respond that they will. He moans that he cant believe that he was able to escape, but he is grateful that he made it out alive
