The wolves have allied themselves with a giant beast, and the wolves are afraid. They have to tell Dorette's family about it, and she will help them. The wolves, however, are not afraid of the giant beast. They are afraid that the beast has eaten the wolves, and that Dorette ate them. Dorette tells them to get help at her mansion, which is not far from where they are. She tells them that she is waiting for them, too, but that she does not know why they are so different from the rest of the world.
