In this chapter, the narrator tells us that he's never lied to anyone, and that he doesn't want to be a part of a band that's going to make a lot of money. He's just going to do what he thinks is best for the band. He tells us about the billboard interview that was supposed to happen with the band, but the guy from the billboard wants to talk to the band directly. He wants to know what they're up to now. The narrator also tells us what happened to Paris, and how he and the other members of the band are all suffering because of the loss of the guy. He says that he and Paris had a wonderful time together, but Paris's death made everything even better. After Paris died, he left the band and went back to writing his own stories.
