The chapter opens with a flourish of Peter's smile. He's back from chasing a rabbit, and he tells us that he's been looking for the "lost boys" . He says he was looking for a tiger when he saw a cheetah chase a rabbit , so he went after the rabbit to see if it could catch it. He forgot to look for the boys, and they're all lost. He finally gets a "lost in lost boys" tooth from a shark, which makes him want to wear the tooth on a necklace. He first met Peter when he tried to steal the tooth from the shark, but the shark wasn't big enough to take the tooth. He tried to knock the shark out with his oar, but it was too big for him, and the shark tore into his raft. Tinker Bell taught him how to fly, which made him float up and away from the raft. The tooth was from a mermaid, but he plans to use it on a whole shark the next time he catches a big one.
