In this chapter, we are introduced to a new member of the company's management team, who is introduced as "kang jin" , or "the new guy" . He is introduced to the company as "unemployment bum" and as "contract employee." He is shocked to learn that the new boss has not picked up his phone. He asks why he did not pick up the phone when he was at home. The new guy says that he just trusted the boss to find the woman he was looking for. He apologizes on his first day on the job and says that his first impression is not bad. He says that the boss could introduce him to the department and that he can figure out what is going on. He thinks that the woman is talking too much and that she is talking about a "massage." He wonders if she is in a higher position than he is and wonders if he will be fired if he gets caught like this. He tries to lift the new guy up and pushes him away from the woman, but he is too proud to do so. He exclaims that he is "good with his hands" and wonders how he is down there. He wonders who the woman was and asks if he can see her smile. He
