About This Chapter
In this short scene, Chang Hyun, the son of a wealthy and powerful family, is preparing to visit his elder brother, who is recovering from a stroke. He asks his mother-in-law if she would like him to visit her brother, but she refuses, saying that she would prefer to stay at home with her husband. He tells her that he will consider her offer if she does a good job with the work he has assigned her, but that it will not be free. He then tells her to "splash" , which is to say greet him, and she does so. She tells him that she has just done the same thing with her daughter and that it is time for her mother to do the same with her brother. She then tells him to "shout" and he responds by saying that he would like to do it with her too, but he will not do it for fun. She asks him to stop calling her "fondle fondle slap," and he replies that he does not plan to make a big issue out of it, as long as she remains quiet. He goes on to say that he has seen the same man before, but who is this man? He then asks him why he is doing this at his brother's home.
