The girl replies that she is not related to anyone, but that her parents go to England every year. The young lovers wonder why they have to go to Europe every year when they do not have any relatives there. They are very excited to meet their twin sister, Susan Larry, who is three minutes older than they are. Susan tells them that her name is "lily larry" and that her mother is "that daylily" . They tell each other that they are related, and Susan explains that her father was a maid in England and her mother was a housekeeper in France. She says that she has learned that the maid's name is Mr. Rentamin, and that he died before she could serve him. Susan asks if she can take her to pay her respects to her parents, and she says that it would be difficult for her to accept her. She asks why her parents have not told her about her. Susan says that they love her more, and they are trying to protect
