In this chapter, the two young men discuss the future. They've both decided that they want to be "super-strong" firemen, "game streamer" pilots, "retired like my grandfather" , and "a world player" . They also decide that they'll be "champion tennis" and "lawyers" when they grow up. The narrator tells the audience that this is an ambitious goal and that he hopes the two men reach it. He also tells them that they can hear the sea below their window and that they haven't been to the village in a while. He says that he thinks it's best for the two of them to move to a quieter place.
