In this chapter, we are introduced to a young man who has just come to visit his grandmother. He asks her to stop giving him gifts because he is in love with her. She tells him that he can have anything he wants for free, but that he must pay for it. The young man tells her that he just had a "great idea" and that he will not accept anything for free.
