The scene opens with Hiroyuki slipping into the swimming pool, where he is joined by Kimura and Tamura, who are trying to get Tamura into the club. Tamura and Kimura are worried that Hiroyuki has been injured and that they will not be able to compete in the upcoming con-test. The three of them try to convince themselves that they are not the only people who can participate in the contest.
